JDR Referral Program

First off, thanks for stopping by. I’m Don Carmon, account manager for JDResources in Memphis, Tennessee. Our core business is permanent, contract, and outsource staffing for the IT industry.

I’m building a small group of well-connected IT professionals to serve as outside agents for JDR’s fee-based referral program. If you’ve been in the IT business for a while, you probably know managers and directors, either from current or past engagements, who actively seek resources. Granted, if you are on the bench, your first priority is to use these connections to secure a fulltime position. If this is the case, JDR can assist you in your job search. In addition to this, however, I’d like you to consider leveraging your contacts and job search efforts into another source of income. If you are privy to permanent or contract opportunities outside of your skill set, or opportunities you either passed up or were passed on for whatever reason, you can convert these opportunities into income. For permanent positions, we offer a $1,000 referral fee on any deal JDR closes as a result of any job lead you provide. For contract placements, we offer $2 per hour up to $1,000.

I took advantage of this program when I was a contract developer for JDR, which is how I transitioned from development to IT recruiting. This program isn’t for everyone; but it was highly lucrative for me because I’d worked with a lot of IT professionals during my 15 years as a developer.
